Larissa Kindred

Larissa Kanno Kindred (she/her) is a master’s level Mental Health Counseling intern from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Women’s and Gender Studies from UMass Dartmouth. Her therapeutic focus is on the intersection of race, gender and sexuality with mental health. She also works on a research team that studies interventions for neurodiverse populations, specifically women and LGBTQ+ individuals with Autism and ADHD. Larissa is a proud Japanese-American, an adoptive mom, and a breast cancer survivor. In her spare time she loves reading, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
